Troop 73 Motto: 
Cook It, Cook It Good!

Troop 73 was first chartered in 1957 to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Novato, California.  We are part of the Marin Council, located north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the San Francisco Bay area of California.   We emphasize a youth-run program, giving the boys the opportunity and responsibility to plan and run the program. We conduct at least one outdoor activity every month, and have  earned the Quality Unit award annually!

We welcome you to join us in the adventure of Scouting.

We have an active calendar of activities including backpacking, rafting, mountain biking, snorkeling, hiking, camping, wilderness survival and  community service projects.    

Troop 73 also has a strong hiking program and does day, weekend and "Fifty Miler" hikes.
